How it works

From survey to install, we keep everything in house

Five stages, one team, one number to ring. You are never left chasing a supplier who is waiting on a fabricator who is waiting on a fitter.

01

Survey

We come to you and measure the space ourselves — eaves height, floor slab, column positions, doors, sprinklers, the lot. Getting this right on day one is what stops surprises on install week.

02

Design

You get a drawn floor plan showing beam layout, column positions, deck build-up and staircase placement — so you can see exactly where the steel lands before anything is cut.

03

Fabrication

Steelwork is cut, drilled, welded and finished by our own hands. Cleats, columns, stair strings, handrail — made to the drawing, not ordered from a catalogue and made to fit on site.

Delivery

Steel, decking and fixings arrive together, on our schedule, loaded in the order the fitters need them. No half-deliveries and no site full of pallets you cannot use yet.

Install

Frame up, deck down, stairs and edge protection fitted, site swept. We work around your operation where we can, including out of hours, so you are not shut for a fortnight.

Reclaimed by default

Double the footprint with a reclaimed mezzanine

Steel does not wear out the way people assume. A beam that carried a floor for fifteen years will carry one for another thirty. We buy, strip, grade and refurbish structural steel and racking from decommissioned sites, then build it back into working floors.

It is the reason we can quote a fast, affordable mezzanine on space that would otherwise sit empty — and the reason a lot of good steel never reaches a skip.

  • Second-life beams, columns and cleats, graded before they go anywhere near a drawing
  • New steel used wherever the design or the loading calls for it — we will tell you which you are getting
  • Racking, decking, stairs and handrail available reclaimed too
  • We also buy: if you are clearing a unit, talk to us before it is scrapped

Common questions

The things people ask before they ring

How much does a mezzanine floor cost?
It depends on the area, the loading, the deck finish and how much access and edge protection you need — so anyone quoting a price before seeing the space is guessing. Tell us the rough size and what is going on it, and we will give you a realistic figure quickly, then a fixed written price after the survey.
Do I need approval to put one in?
Mezzanine floors are usually subject to Building Regulations, and larger ones can bring in fire protection and means-of-escape requirements. It varies by building, use and size. We will talk you through what your space is likely to need before you commit to anything.
Will you have to shut my unit down?
Rarely for the whole job. We phase the work around your operation where the building allows it, and we can work evenings and weekends on the disruptive stages. We will tell you honestly at survey which days will be noisy.
Is reclaimed steel as good as new?
Structurally, yes — steel does not tire the way timber does. Every section we reuse is stripped, checked and graded first, and if a design calls for new steel then new steel is what goes in. You will always know which you are getting and why.
Do you work outside your local area?
Yes — we deliver and install across the UK. Ring or send the postcode and the rough size and we will tell you straight away whether we can get to you.
